green.
Uhh, how sick does Katie Shillingford's green hair look? Would seriously love if I could pull shit like this off without looking like a crappy version of Enid Coleslaw or some kinda Cyberpunk reject...
Seriously though, Shillingford is the goddess of offbeat fashion. I wish I lived in her wardrobe.

Life on the Nickel.
This is my life right now.
Sabrina The Teenage Witch - the pinnacle of kids TV and the best show ever, duh. Who doesn't wanna be a teen witch?
Cherry Coke - because I'm addicted to it. It's sugary and cola-y and cherry perfection and tooth decay in a bottle.

Control - Joy Division are amazing. Ian Curtis is amazing. This story, and indeed, movie, is A-FUCKING-MAZING.
Asos hot pink Revive Ablaze wedge boots - the newest addition to my ever-expanding shoe closet. These babies are the shit.

Wildfox Fall 2011
I love everything about Wildfox. The effortlessly-cool L.A aesthetic of the brand, its feel-good vibes and nostalgic lookbooks, the quirky fashion films and of course, the clothes. Wildfox is pretty much the coolest clothing brand out there for girls right now, and the duo behind the designs are like Wildfox poster girls themselves, edgy-but-cute L.A girls who are so cool it hurts.
The vid for their Fall 2011 collection is a rock n roll combination of girly and kick-ass all at the same time. What's not to love?

It's the taxidermy of you and me.
The Lip Noir collection by Limecrime is pretty fucking rad. Like, I don't know when the hell I'll wear the black one (except Halloween or when in a particularly goth-y mood, which isn't really a common occurrence) but the other 2 shades are amazing, and the packaging's super-cute too so total bonus.
These days my life consists of driving lessons, job applications, shitty weather, obsessing over the Pussycat Dolls workout DVD, overdosing on smoothies and having a crazy case of writers block (which is sloooowly killing me, seriously.)
I am in dire need of
1) Inspiration
2) A job
3) These insane hot-pink platform ankle boots.
Someone provide me with all 3 and you will probably save my life (and I'll love you forever, duh.) On the bright side, last week I managed to pick up Aerosmith's Greatest Hits on vinyl for... £1.50! I know, total bargain, right? Probably the best £1.50 I ever spent, it's in great condition and is likely the closest I'll ever get to actually having Steven Tyler himself in.my.room.

you can't drive in creepers.
So, the country's meant to be in the midst of a heatwave but there was a distinct lack of sunshine/heat in Glasgow. Typicallll! I'm so over this 'weather', someone take me somewhere sunny and warm please. Or to Disneyland!

If you were there, beware.
So, the other day, L-J and I had one of those profound conversations that we regularly take part in. Pretty much, we decided what movie character we would most like to be if we had the choice. Mines was a toughie, between Amelie (from Amelie), Lydia Deetz (from Beetlejuice) and Wednesday Addams. Wednesday won out though, I'm a sucker for the whole deadpan pre-teen thing and I've been an Addams Family fanatic since I was a kid. L-J went for Holly from Breakfast At Tiffany's (yep, pretty far removed from my choice!)
We also came to the conclusion that if there were ever to be a movie of our lives, Zooey Deschanel would play me whereas L-J would be played by Reese Witherspoon. Now, if only we got out there and made our live the kind of stuff cinematic legends are made of...
